Do you give garlic to your chickens? What health benefits do you observe?

I don't, but I read it help to prevent diseases and worms.

I've used it before but I discontinued because I dont have the time to keep pounding garlic every day. I did not notice any benefits bc I used it for a short while. Below are some benefits:

The sulfur in garlic act against certain worms. It contains a compound called allicin, which has antibiotic and antifungal properties. When crushed and exposed to air, the antibiotic ppty will vanish within 24hrs. As allicin decays, other new compounds that can stimulate the immune system and act on the blood as antioxidants.

Garlic is effective against protozoa like aspergillus, candida, cryptococcus and toxoplasma, bacteria like staphylococcus, streptococcus and salmonella.

In drinking water, you can use 1 clove per quart of water, 4 cloves per gallon. You may add more or less. You can add to feed by drying and grinding it up. But dont dry under direct sun.
